Viadrus foundry

Bohumin town is linked with heavy indsutrial production since 1885 when Albert Hahn and Heinrich Eisner established the first tube works here. The foundry operations were launched later on, in 1888.

The production was focused on radiators and boilers from the very beginning.

The Viadrus foundry was establihsed in 2012 and consisted of two plants - the grey iron foundry with cupola furnace department and the non-ferrous foundry with induction furnaces. Both dating back to 1973.

Due to to the difficult market situation the grey iron foundry was shutdown for good in 2021.
